About Wheels Off Liberty

Mike and Jamie grew up across the street from each other and formed a friendship that has lasted their entire lives.

Besides their love for Dallas sports teams and good whiskey, their political views at first were what seemed at first glance to be opposite simply because Mike was a Republican and Jamie was a Democrat.

They spent a few years arguing over whether Clinton helped the economy or was it the Republican congress. They debated progressive income tax, social programs and foreign policy.

But they soon realized that they basically shared the same core political beliefs, but had been conned by their respective crooked parties into becoming polarized and only rooting for their “team” the D’s or the R’s.

Now they realize that both parties are nothing but criminals and enemies of the republic who seek nothing but to stay in power by any means necessary. As long as the Democrats and Republicans can share the loot after they rape the American citizens, they are content to share the power.

Mike and Jamie are both now what you would call independent/constitutionalist/minarchist/Jamie maybe anarchist/free market libertarian patriots. They want their federal government returned to a small restrained outfit that stays the hell out of it’s citizens’ business as intended by the founders who fought, bleed and died to form this country, the greatest experiment in freedom in the history of the planet.

They also want to wake people up to the scam that is being pushed on them by the media that goes right along with the false Democrat vs. Republican nonsense that helps keep the treasonous globalist crooks in power.

Tarrin Lupo was born with a social disease of being a staunch Anti-Authoritarian. He has been a libertarian since 1988 but has moved on and now believes a society should act with each other volunteerly not using the force of government. He is a cessionist and promotes stepping out side of system to live free as much as possible. On a personal side he is considered Cougar bait by most season ladies because he wishes he still lived in the 1970′s.

“Who will govern the governors? There is only one force in the nation that can be depended upon to keep the government pure and the governors honest, and that is the people themselves. They alone, if well informed, are capable of preventing the corruption of power, and of restoring the nation to its rightful course if it should go astray. They alone are the safest depository of the ultimate powers of government”

Hey Mike and Jamie. I just wanted to remind you all that when you talk about the criminal government, try not to fall prey to collectivism by saying “we.”

  4. The Anti-Patriot

I love your show. Keep up the greatness.Thank you.

Great show guys! Among all the podcasts I follow, yours bear the best liberty humour and news ratio. Keep on going.

I live in Rio de Janeiro and I can tell you that it has been difficult to watch the news around here… UIf you think USA has too many laws seizing freedom, you should see the situation here, The government passes laws every day. just a quick sample: I f oyu own a bakery you HAVE to sell bread by the pound, if you sell per units you can be even arrested.

Monkey Wrench On Dish Service for Ep 31:

Open source software is often available at no charge and can be used by anyone. Modifying and distributing it, however, can only be done by those who follow the license (often the GNU General Public License aka The GPL) the creator(s) chose for their intellectual property.

    According to the GPL v2:

“You are not required to accept this License, since you have not signed it [LIKE YOU WOULD WITH A CONTRACT]. However, *nothing* else grants you permission to modify or distribute the [PRODUCT OR SERVICE]. These actions are prohibited by law if you do not accept this License. Therefore, by modifying or distributing the [THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE], you indicate your acceptance of this License to do so, and all its terms and conditions for copying, distributing or modifying the [PRODUCT OR SERVICE].”

See, a contract is a meeting of the minds wherein two or more parties enter into an agreement for an exchange of value for value. A license is one-sided. It’s written permission to use someone else’s property under certain conditions. Mike, I’m sure there have been a few times where you wished you’d licensed the use of your lawnmower, your beer or some other thing that Jamie borrowed from you.

Since a license is NOT a contract, you don’t have to abide by it because you didn’t sign it. But if you don’t abide by and use the product or service anyway, you are doing so without permission from the owner(s). Using a product or service you didn’t create without permission from the owner(s) is stealing.

Now you may still have an arbitration claim regarding the dish network polluting your air with their death rays. But, if they use a license like the GPL to protect their stuff (and not the EULA shit Microsoft and others use) , you don’t have the permission to use their product or service.

Maybe, if they get into it with you about you owing them money, you could take them to arbitration, file a counterclaim on those death rays, and as a result of a judgment, they’ll grant you permission to use their service at no charge.

I’ve been listening to the show since about midpoint of it’s creation and I have to say they are very consistent (I apologize if i misspell any words drinking some booze) on the liberty message of limited government and calling out BOTH parties when they are wrong. I anticipate each episode and can’t wait for the next one to be released they both have a libertarian edge to their arguments which I admire totally. These guys understand the current events and give a funny yet also serious constitutional pro liberty edge to the stuff each week….. WHATCHA DRINKING ON TONIGHT MIKE AND JAMIE!!? :) hhaahaa please keep this going on for a long time i’m a gigantic FAN!!!!!

Hey Now, I found you guys through Free Talk Live and I have to say that I like your brand of horrible comedy and of course I love liberty. It’s like someone mashed up FTL with Red State update…

So, I’ll keep listening as long as you keep podcasting.

    Thanks,

    JTk

I just met Michelle Solvie and she told me about you. I am an activist, TEA Party organizer, FairTax advocate and now entirely committed to “Get Out Of Our House” the plan to replace the corrupt members of the US House of Representatives. Please look at the site. We are fed up with both parties. This is the way we take the House and kick the bums out. Let’s get a majority of GOOOH candidates elected and use Article 1, Section 5, clause 2 of the Constitution and vote out the corrupt members that get re-elected.

Dammit! I just discovered you guys about a month ago and can’t get enough. More episodes please!!! Even if it’s just you two talking about watching paint dry. Even that will be more entertaining than most other podcasts!

Loved the intellectual property analogy about people throwing safes on your lawn, then complaining when you open it. Makes perfect sense.

And I’ve got to use Jamie’s “sex with your wife challenge” when I get the chance.

Keep it up… and record more podcasts!!!

  13. Glenn Nielsen

Are you two interested in doing your thing at an LP State Convention?

  14. Jamie

    Send us the info Glenn.

  15. Brandon

Hey, Jamie, is it true that you’re gay? Or is that just another thing you do to go along with the low-brow humor of WOL? I don’t care if you’re gay or not; I’m just curious.

  16. Brandon

How the hell did a teabagger hear about WOL? Are you sure you’re not really a libertarian pretending to be a tea partier because you’re afraid your conservative friends and family will hate you for “coming out”, miki? Just ditch the teabagging and join the LIBERTY movement! Most of the tea partiers are a bunch of zombies who do whatever their right-wing masters tell them and buy into the most ridiculous propaganda.
